Adeu a Boston: una nova etapa a València
El passat mes de Juny em vaig graduar finalment al Berklee Global Jazz Institute, per al qual vaig febre una beca completa, finalitzant així també el meu temps als EUA. Després de tres anys, tinc moltes ganes de mostrar tot el que he estat fent i aprenent allà a la meua ciutat natal!
Goodbye to Boston: a new chapter in Valencia.
Last June, I finally graduated from the Berklee Global Jazz Institute, for which I received a full scholarship, thereby also concluding my time in the US. After three years living there, I am really looking forward to showcasing everything I’ve been doing and learning there in my hometown!
Guardonada amb el premi Patricia Zarate d'Activisme social en Global Jazz
Aquest premi reconeix el lideratge destacat, l'activisme social, l'excel·lència acadèmica i l'impuls de les dones en el jazz. El guardó ret homenatge a Patricia Zarate, professora d'Activisme Social i Performance al Berklee Global Jazz Institute, directora executiva de la iniciativa del Panama Jazz Festival, autora d'obres de gran influència sobre jazz i mecenatge / teràpia musical, i una destacada líder en l'educació artística global i la implicació comunitària a través de la música.
I was awarded with the Patricia Zarate Award for Social Activism in Global Jazz
This award recognizes outstanding leadership, social activism, scholarly achievement, and the advancement of women in jazz. It honors Patricia Zarate, Professor of Social Activism and Music Performance at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute, Executive Director of the Panama Jazz Festival initiative, author of influential works on jazz and music therapy, and a distinguished leader in global arts education and community engagement through music.
Coneguent Berklee València com a coordinadora asistent al programa d'estiu
Aquest juliol he estat treballant al campus de Berklee València. Una experiència molt gratificant per conèixer de prop la seua pedagogia en jazz i música moderna a la nostra ciutat!
Meeting Berklee Valencia as Full-time Summer Program Assistant Coordinator
This July, I was working at Berklee Valencia. It was a very rewarding experience to get a close-up look at their approach to teaching jazz and modern music right here in our city!
El que porte entre mans
Be Prepared to Stop és el meu nou projecte desenvolupat al Berklee Global Jazz Institute (Boston, MA), amb publicació prevista per al 2027.
Inspirat en les inundacions que van assolar el País Valencià el 29 d'octubre de 2024, aquest treball neix d'una experiència íntima profundament vinculada al territori. Les composicions transformen una vivència personal i col·lectiva marcada per la pèrdua en un recorregut sonor que explora la fragilitat, la memòria, la resistència, la diversitat i l'esperança.
Be Prepared to Stop concep la música com un espai de cura, de trobada i de reconstrucció emocional, i reivindica el jazz com un llenguatge capaç de generar diàleg, preservar la memòria col·lectiva i reforçar els vincles que sostenen les comunitats davant els reptes de l'emergència climàtica.

What I am working on
"Be Prepared to Stop" is my new project developed at the Berklee Global Jazz Institute (Boston, MA), set for release in 2027.
Inspired by the floods that devastated the Valencian Region on October 29, 2024, this work stems from a deeply personal experience bound to the territory. The compositions translate a shared and individual journey marked by loss into a soundscape that explores fragility, memory, resilience, diversity, and hope.
Be Prepared to Stop conceives music as a space for healing, connection, and emotional reconstruction. It champions jazz as a language capable of fostering dialogue, preserving collective memory, and strengthening the bonds that sustain communities in the face of climate crisis challenges.
